It’s 2020 and 22 years past when I began conducting search engine optimization. The wild west of SEO. What an unstructured learning experience it was.

I took to the task of optimizing online casinos, entertainment businesses, ecommerce, and financial services firms. One top ranking for “blackjack” netted my casino client $250,000 for one visitor!  Consider the millions for all the rest.

Don’t judge me for being involved in gambling. It was the dawning of the Internet and a rare opportunity to learn the subtleties of SEO.

Majestic ( $49 to $399)

The top questions about the major SEO software platforms is whether they’re worth the big monthly price tag?  If you’re just vanity checking your SERPs, then probably not.

Certainly $39 a month is worth it for an agency that needs to report on their clients status with automated reports.

Their achilles’ heel, is a lack of Artificial intelligence components and an inability to help users fashion unique, creative content so they can rank effectively. You can’t just rank like everyone else is doing. Google looks for unique sites and examines in a very specific way about your site’s relevance. You must build your own unique strengths while finding topically authoritative influencers/journalists/bloggers who might give you a backlink from their site.
